May 1998 – The Birth of a Phenomenon
Our first show! And how did we ever get to do it again after
that awful first show? We launched the new bank holiday
Monday gay night at Club X-Cell in Chesterfield.
The Vice Girls are so named as an homage to the fabulous
Spice Girls, and in those early days, Spice Girls numbers
were all we did as a trio. The problem was we looked more
like the Witches of Eastwick than the Spice Girls! But hey
ho! Solo numbers included Miss Clit as Kate Bush with
Wuthering Heights and Veronica as Gina G with unshaved
armpits!
Of course the true highlight of the show nobody got to see!
As Miss Clit tried to make her tits the way she used to
[condoms filled with water], she found the condoms had all
sprung leaks and looked like watering cans! And that was the
end of Miss Clits real tits!
August 1998
The second Bank Holiday gay night at Club X-Cell saw us back
once more, but with the absence of Miss Clit. Cherrie Bliss
and Veronica Velcro battled on alone with fabulous
renditions of No More Tears, and our first proper foray into
Eurovision with Bucks Fizz and Making Your Mind Up. No
skirts to rip off, but a flash of Miss Cherrie’s union jack
knickers!
