James Cunningham a.k.a. Miss Veronica Velcro

One of the founder members of the group, and the driving force behind many of the girls’ events, James has helped to create some of the biggest and most memorable events on the Chesterfield gay scene.

To raise money for CASH and with a view to creating the biggest and best Vice Girls event yet, James created An Audience With The Vice Girls, which attracted one of the biggest crowds ever seen at Marsdens/Rendezvous Bar.

With help from the CASH Project he then went on to create the now annual FOREPLAY event which is Chesterfield’s nod to the Pride and Mardi Gras season. In it’s first year, this event succeeded in uniting three of the regular gay venues in Chesterfield – a definite first!

Foreplay has gone onto be a regular feature on the Chesterfield Gay Calendar, attracting crowds from around the region.

Having spent three years on and off in London running bars and restaurants, James is now settled in Manchester DJing in Via amongst his other commitments, and keeping the Vice dream alive with regular Veronica appearances.
